The Marketing Network was originally created in response to a demand from graduates of the Chartered Institute of Marketing's (CIM) Intensive Diploma Course (IDC) who valued the intensive style of the IDC weekends. They wanted high quality learning delivered in the IDC style - and the benefits of networking with other IDC graduates.

In 2006 the Marketing Network decided to open membership to chartered marketers and Fellows of the CIM who share similar aims.

Membership costs just £25.00 per year which is normally collected with members' CIM subscriptions If you would like to join, please complete the form.
Our activities
Our principal activity is to stage 'skills update' events. These provide a similar intensive programme to the IDC training weekends. They usually start on Friday evening and run until Saturday lunchtime. The content is varied and encourages participation and questioning of the presenters.

Skills update events normally take place at Moor Hall but some are held at other locations to promote involvement from members in other areas of the country.

Attendance at the skills updates contributes towards your yearly CPD requirements and you will find that the events are very reasonably priced.
